SOLOMON HILLS ESTATE
Our Solomon Hills Pinot Noir offers an exceptional expression of our cool climate region, with ripe fruit flavors beautifully balanced by savory notes and dried florals.
|Appellation||Santa Maria Valley|
Considered to be the coldest vineyard in our region, Solomon Hills is able to yield Pinot Noir grapes that achieve an incredible balance of bright, fruity tones, dried florals and distinct savory elements. Using Pommard, 115 and 667 clones, this Pinot Noir offers flavors of fresh wild strawberry, spiced cherry, cracked black pepper and teriyaki beef, with subtle aromas of hibiscus and rooibos tea on the finish. Fermentation always happens naturally with this wine and it is aged for 16 months in 45% new French oak barrels.
